The Football match by Emilio Notte is a futurist study of a football action.
The footballers are again not definite because Emilio Notte is interested in studying the movement and the scomposition in elementary shapes (this is a influence deriving from Cézanne and cubist painters), so the footballers are represented with the same colour. The result is a tension, a movement of shapes creating a contrast with the surrounding space and rendering an excited football match.
