The 1963
Frisky horse is one of the first works by Guidi representing a horse and one of the most singular. In the first room of this virtual exhibition we have seen that Guidi loves to represent meek animals in his sculptures. Now, he decides to represent an energic frisky horse, but he does not insist on the particulars, because he does not describe the savagery and the aggressiveness of this horse.
We do not know the expression of this animal, because Guidi does not represent the horse's rage, but we can see the ability with which the artist define the muscular masses of the animal, its muzzle, its thighs and its neck.
